The business group’s plan is to turn the lot under the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, which measures around a hectare, into a premier facility with food kiosks and coffee shops, well-equipped playground, skating area, jogging trail, and designated spots for fitness programs like zumba and for senior citizens, said Mandaue Business Month 2013 chair Romelinda “Girlie” Garces.

She added that a cove under the bridge could be developed as a starting point for aqua sports and boating activities.
